What a great weekend in St. Petersburg! I just finished my second airshow of the 2009 season with Michael Mancuso. Michael and I got a chance to fly our new formation act on Friday, and I also flew my solo show on Saturday and Sunday between the major races. This was my first experience flying at a major IRL (Indy Racing League) event. What a blast for all of you that enjoy incredible motor sports! Where else can you watch high horsepower aircraft and race cars at one event? I truly hope this will become an annual event for Michael and I.

You will notice in the pictures that I am holding 2 dozen red roses. Michael would really like to take credit for giving them to me, but I have to admit that the Columbian Racing Team was generous enough to reward our great show with this great symbol of appreciation from their home country. Hey, hot flying, fast cars, and 24 roses…how can you beat this?? I really want to do this again!
