I left BSF Monday, September 14th and headed to The Upper Cumberland Regional Airport. This was the site for my next airshow the following weekend. The weather forecast reflected that the sooner I got there, the better. After I arrived in Sparta, it began to rain and didn’t stop for the entire week! I was really getting nervous that I wouldn’t be able to fly the show due to weather, however, but I have NOT been weathered out all year and I wasn’t about to start now.

Sure enough, the weather God’s aligned perfectly on Saturday, and we were able to fly the entire show with just one small rain delay. The crowd was fantastic and I ran out of posters to sign. This is a superb venue for an airshow! Mike Douglas did an extraordinary job putting this show together. Air Boss, Dave Schultz did an exceptional job with his team also. Most of all, I want to send a special thanks to Bill & Eric Walker for their great hospitality and help in taking care of the needs of CC Airshows! I sincerely hope to be back in 2011.
